Super Smoothie Breakfast Bowl

Start the day with a power-packed breakkie that you can be as creative as you like with! A great post-morning-workout breakkie with a good mix of protein, healthy carbs and a range of nutrients & antioxidants.

Super Smoothie Bowl Ingredients
1 small-medium frozen ripe banana, chopped
1/3 C frozen blueberries
1/2 C fresh spinach Leaves
1 scoop Nothing Naughty protein of choice (This used vanilla pea protein)
2 tsp cacao or cocoa powder
1/2 C milk of choice (cow's milk makes a creamier texture, plan-based milks = less creamy)
1/4 C wholegrain rolled oats or soaked buckwheat groats (optional)

Toppings used (whatever you fancy!)
1 tsp beetroot powder (rich in minerals & antioxidants)
1 TBSP chopped nuts
1 TBSP desiccated coconut
2 pieces chopped dark Whittaker's chocolate (72%)

Method
Blend all smoothie bowl ingredients in a blender/magic bullet until smooth. Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings. Enjoy!

Tip: Sneak in even more nutrients by adding a scoop of Nothing Naughty Bounce Vegetable Powder (Some find this to have a very 'healthy' taste so you may need to add extra banana or fruit to reduce bitterness).
