  • How to use

    Oven:
Add 300ml warm water to 7g dry yeast and 400g bread mix. Knead for approx. 2-3 minutes for a dense bread, or for 6-8 minutes for a fluffier bread. Place dough in a loaf pan and let sit (at 25-30C) for approx. 20 minutes for a dense bread, and up to 50 minutes for a lighter, fluffier bread. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 40-45 mins at 200-220C.

    Bread Maker:
Add 300ml warm water to 1 sachet of yeast and 400g bread mix in your bread making machine. Run the standard or quick whole grain bread program. Choose 500g bread weight on the bread making machine. If your machine is only suitable for larger breads, we suggest multiplying the recipe 1.5x for a good result.

Bread

Not too happy with this product as it didn’t really rise in my bread maker and looked like a jumbled mess when done and rather flavourless.

Was okay ?

Bread didn’t really rise very well … very dense …and didn’t really have a lot of flavour.

I bought the 3 pack …. So next loaf I will add more yeast and onion and garlic powder and maybe some grated Parmesan?

Very good value for money thou compared to other keto bread mixes 😉

Versatile Bread Alternative

Love using the bread mix as base for bread and rolls, occasionally mix it with additional seeds & nuts for crunchier experience, or combine it with another for variation, or sprinkle or plat the dough before sprinkling with seeds. Always bake till it sounds "hollow" or spike comes out clean. Easy to use as small pizza base too, yummy. Happy to recommend.

Waste of money..

I so wanted to like this locally made product but.. The bread didn't bind or rise in my bread maker and I ended up with a hard lump of something which was inedible. I thought it may have been a one off but no, the second time I used the mix the result was the same. I threw it into the bird feeder yet despite all the seeds, even the birds wouldn't eat it! I've gone back to using my usual low carb bread mix (from a very well known brand) as it turns out perfect every time, is readily available at the supermarket and its cheaper.
